The Owner Engages the Vendor
Independent vendors remain directly accountable to the owner. The owner selects the provider, confirms licensing and insurance, approves the scope, signs the contract, directs the work, accepts the result, and pays the provider.
LES does not hire, subcontract, direct, or supervise those providers. A referral or introduction does not make the provider an LES subcontractor or place the provider's work under LES control.
Access at the Owner's Request
At the owner's request, LES may share contact information for a known provider, coordinate that vendor's arrival from the ferry or airport, provide property access, and record that the authorized visit occurred. LES shares only the access details needed for the visit.
The provider controls and performs its own work. Questions about scope, methods, licensing, insurance, price, changes, acceptance, warranty, and payment stay between the owner and provider.
A Minimal Access Record
A vendor access record can remain brief: owner authorization, provider name, arrival and departure time, area accessed, and any factual observation the owner asked LES to record. It is not a work-completion certification, inspection, warranty record, or acceptance of the provider's work.
This boundary protects the owner's control, the provider's independence, and an accurate record of what LES actually did.
