Weather, salt, humidity, and ordinary household conditions can change while an owner is away. Home watch provides a scheduled visual visit through ordinary walking areas, access points, and owner-designated indicators, followed by a report of what visibly changed.
We live here. The residence stays under a local, on-the-ground steward's attention between every visit, not just when someone arrives to check on it.

Visible Indicators
Owner-identified displays or controls are observed without diagnosis, repair, or alteration, and unusual indications are reported.

Interior Condition
A visual walkthrough for moisture, visible pest signs, humidity concerns, and changes in condition since the previous visit. LES reports pest signs but does not provide pest-control services.

Grounds and Perimeter
Ordinary walking areas and the visible perimeter observed for storm effects, standing water, fallen debris, or conditions the owner should review.

Lāna'i has one main road, one small airport, and a single barge line for freight. Living inside those constraints, year-round, is what lets a steward respond quickly: a fault found on a Tuesday walkthrough is addressed that same week.
We keep the circle small and known. The team that watches the residence is the same team that has cared for Lāna'i estates for years, familiar with the island's trade winds, its salt load, and the handful of trusted trades who can be called on when a project needs a licensed hand.

What is home watch, exactly?
Home watch is a scheduled visual observation of a residence while the owner is away. It covers ordinary walking areas, access points, and visible conditions, followed by a clear report. It is not a professional inspection, security service, repair service, or licensed-trade evaluation.
How often is a home watch visit performed?
Most residences are checked on a weekly rhythm, with an added visit after any named storm or unusual weather. The exact interval is set with the owner and can tighten for a longer absence or a higher-concern property.
Do you monitor security systems or just walk the property?
A steward walks the property in person on every visit. Where a residence already has its own alarm or camera system, we coordinate around it rather than replacing it, and we do not represent ourselves as a security company.
What happens if you find a problem?
Anything urgent is escalated to the owner immediately by their preferred channel, along with a recommended next step. Non-urgent observations are recorded and carried into the next scheduled report.
